20th Annual Langston University Small Farmers Conference

The 20th Annual Small Farmers Conference is currently going on at Langston OKC. The event covers a variety of topics from herd health to plasticulture gardening, adding value to products and rural development.
Secretary of Agriculture, Jim Reese provided a welcome this morning and several Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry employees will be presenting throughout the conference. Chris Kirby will discuss marketing opportunities for vegetable growers, Micah Anderson will highlight the value of plasticulture and Jamey Allen will present a variety of marketing opportunities avaialable to Oklahoma producers.
This event gives producers a chance to learn about all aspects of production agriculture in Oklahoma.
