Hello, I’m Terry Peach, Commissioner of Agriculture for the State of Oklahoma.

The threat of a foreign animal disease outbreak in the United States is real and we must be prepared.  I’m asking you to register your premises with the National Animal Identification System.  Registering is free and easy; it is the best way to protect your animals and your livelihood when disease strikes.

  12. The system would enable farmers and government officials to quickly track and contain animal disease outbreaks by using precise identification of each animal.

  13. I agree with Sara, we should always be prepared. These kind of diseases can be cured in relative ease if detected correctly and in the right time.
